Behind the meat counter, you'll also find Italian sausage or ground beef. Or hit the deli counter for prosciutto or ham. In the produce section, pick up green peppers, onions, mushrooms, pineapple, tomatoes or any other veggies that your child enjoys. When you get home, set up a pizza station for child. Have the ingredients cut up and put into small bowls. Throw some flour down on the counter. Have your child roll out the dough and use his fingers to gently mold the dough into a circular shape. If he gets discouraged because it's not perfectly round, encourage him to make an original masterpiece. Once the dough is in good shape, have him put the sauce, cheese and toppings. If you don't have a clay pizza stone or pizza tray, you can use a cookie sheet. You can also find disposable metal pizza trays in the grocery store. After you pull the pizza out of the oven, let you child use the pizza cutter to cut up his mini pie. It's sure to be a meal he will remember.
