Prevent Slip-n-Slide Summer Makeup

Let your sunkissed cheeks shine through, or apply a stain to cheeks. Cream blushes will slide, and powders are easy to sweat off. Use waterproof formulas, especially around the eyes - this prevents that raccoon look if you start to perspire. Use a little of that cheek stain on lips to add color and minimize your number of products. When it's time to freshen up, be sure to have blotting papers in your makeup bag. These will absorb oil and sweat, and a tissue will do in a pinch. Reapply only loose powder - not creamy foundations - because an oily base simply means they'll slide off. Pressed powder isn't a great idea, either - it can clump and cake when it comes into contact with oily skin. When it comes to putting on your best summer face, keep it cool!
