Stuffed Cabbage Casserole
There's no reason to make a stink over this stuffed cabbage casserole. Simply toss the ingredients together and let the slow-cooker do the work.
1 lb. lean ground beef 2 oz. instant rice 1/2 cup onions, chopped 1/2 cup water 15 oz. Italian style tomato sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 10 oz. coleslaw mix 1/8 tsp. black pepper
In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onions until it is no longer pink. Drain grease. Transfer mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker. Add tomato sauce, coleslaw mix, rice, water, salt, and black pepper. Cooker will be full but cabbage will cook down. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours, or until cabbage is done.
