8. Lil Wayne's Flag Faux Pas 

Controversial rapper Lil Wayne raised hackles when a video clip surfaced that showed him stepping repeatedly on the American flag. The brief clip featured Weezy giving a performance of his new song, “God Bless Amerika,” in a New Orleans street.

A large American flag that was initially held up behind the rapper was seen falling to the ground early in the song. Wayne was then filmed walking back and forth atop the fallen flag. Many have called the rapper's actions unpatriotic. For his part, Wayne says the flag stomp was completely unintentional.
