Your partner may want to consider how much sleep he's getting and the quality of his sleep. Being exhausted or fatigued does have an effect on getting and keeping an erection, and so does taking certain medications. However, if getting an erection or maintaining one is a chronic problem for your partner, then a trip to the doctor is in order just to be sure everything is all right. Unfortunately, young men are less inclined to seek a doctor's help and may resort to erectile dysfunction medication - even if it hasn't been prescribed. It's dangerous for younger men to take these drugs for myriad reasons, and erectile dysfunction can mask other more serious health conditions. Regardless, you shouldn't take the situation personally. After all, women don't become sexually stimulated every time. A little patience and understanding goes a long way when things don't go as planned.
