You can make an easy and lean beef stew meal that is a perfect one-pot dish. In a slow cooker, place in 3/4 pound of lean stewing beef. Add to the pot cut-up vegetables such as celery, carrots, squash or green beans. Mix together one tablespoon of olive oil, your favorite dried herbs, one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a can of fat-free, reduced-sodium beef broth. Pour that over the meat and vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
