
Ziti with Tomato-Pesto Sauce
It’s okay to be a pesto, especially when you’re talking about this mouthwatering meal. A creative blend of pesto and tomato sauce, it’s the best of both worlds. Get two flavors for the price of one.
Ingredients
- 12 ounce(s) ziti pasta
- 2 tablespoon(s) pesto
- 26 ounce(s) tomato basil pasta sauce
- 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup(s) Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.

Add ziti pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes.

Drain.

Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-low heat, mix together the pesto and basil tomato sauce.

Bring to a simmer, and season with salt to taste.

Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
