Ziti with Tomato-Pesto Sauce

It's okay to be a pesto, especially when you're talking about this mouthwatering meal. A creative blend of pesto and tomato sauce, it's the best of both worlds. Get two flavors for the price of one.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounce(s) ziti pasta
  • 2 tablespoon(s) pesto
  • 26 ounce(s) tomato basil pasta sauce
  • 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
  • 1/2 cup(s) Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Add ziti pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes.
  • Drain.
  • Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-low heat, mix together the pesto and basil tomato sauce.
  • Bring to a simmer, and season with salt to taste.
  • Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Ready in 20 minutes.
