Veal with Capers
There’s nothing plain but plenty simple with this veal dish. Prepared with capers, it’s an easy fix that can be made in a matter of minutes. We promise it will make it into your recipe repertoire.
Ingredients
- 5 1.5-oz. veal eye round pieces, pounded thin
- 1 salt and pepper
- 1 flour, as needed
- 1 clarified butter, as needed
- 1 1/2 ounce(s) white wine
- 2 tablespoon(s) capers
- 1 tablespoon(s) whole butter
- 1 1/2 ounce(s) lemon juice (juice of one fruit)
Instructions

Dry veal and season with salt and pepper.

Saute veal in clarified butter until brown on both sides.

Deglaze pan with wine.

Add capers.

Finish with whole butter and lemon juice; adjust seasoning to taste.
