Tomato & Salami Bagel
Move over lox, this bagel is getting an Italian makeover. Spread with cream cheese and topped with salami, tomato and parsley, this open-faced sandwich is a great breakfast, lunch, dinner or afternoon snack.
Ingredients
- 4 bagels, halved horizontally and toasted lightly
- 8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened
- 8 slices of hard salami
- 2 medium tomatoes cut into 8 slices
- 2 tablespoon(s) chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 1 salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions
- Spread the bagel halves equally with cream cheese, top each half with a slice of salami and tomato; sprinkle the toppings evenly with the parsley and drizzle with lemon juice; season with salt and pepper.
