Spinach Fettuccine with Broccoli & Ham

Ham it up with this spinach fettuccine. You’ll want to use your noodle when you prepare our traditional favorite uncharacteristically prepared with creme fraiche.

Ingredients

  

  • 12 ounce(s) spinach fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) chopped cooked ham
  • 16 ounce(s) broccoli florets, blanched
  • 4 ounce(s) creme fraiche
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste

Instructions

 

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until “al dente”.
  • Drain, and return to pot.
  • Heat oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.
  • Saute onion until soft and translucent.
  • Stir in ham, and heat through.
  • Mix onion, ham and broccoli with pasta in pot.
  • Mix in creme fraiche until evenly coated.
