Special Glazed Chicken with Biscuits
This chicken dinner is downright dynamic. Prepared with a citrus-like glaze and then crusted with corn flakes, it’s baked “fried” chicken at its finest.
Ingredients
- 32 ounce(s) cut up chicken
- 2 tablespoon(s) melted butter
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 8 refrigerator biscuits ( 1 can)
- 1/3 cup(s) corn flakes, slightly crushed
- 2/3 cup(s) honey
- 1/2 cup(s) orange juice
- 1/8 cup(s) flour
- 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Place chicken in a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch dish, skin up.

Brush with melted butter and sprinkle on salt and pepper.

Bake for 45 – 50 minutes, or until light golden brown.

In a small saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients.

Mix well.

Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring occasionally.

Drain excess fat from cooked chicken.

Move chicken to one end of the baking dish, and arrange biscuits in opposite end and spoon glaze over chicken and biscuits.

Sprinkle corn flakes over biscuits.

Return to oven for 10 – 15 minutes.

Ready in 1 hour and 10 min.
