Special Glazed Chicken with Biscuits

This chicken dinner is downright dynamic. Prepared with a citrus-like glaze and then crusted with corn flakes, it's baked "fried" chicken at its finest.

Ingredients
  

  • 32 ounce(s) cut up chicken
  • 2 tablespoon(s) melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 8 refrigerator biscuits ( 1 can)
  • 1/3 cup(s) corn flakes, slightly crushed
  • 2/3 cup(s) honey
  • 1/2 cup(s) orange juice
  • 1/8 cup(s) flour
  • 1 tablespoon(s) lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place chicken in a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch dish, skin up.
  • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle on salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 45 - 50 minutes, or until light golden brown.
  • In a small saucepan, combine all glaze ingredients.
  • Mix well.
  • Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain excess fat from cooked chicken.
  • Move chicken to one end of the baking dish, and arrange biscuits in opposite end and spoon glaze over chicken and biscuits.
  • Sprinkle corn flakes over biscuits.
  • Return to oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Ready in 1 hour and 10 min.
