Simple Party Cheese Fondue

Fond of fondue? Then this recipe is definitely for you. This classic and simple fondue recipe is perfect for a group gathering or an intimate dinner for two. Serve with egg bagels for a different twist.

Ingredients

  

  • 8 ounce(s) swiss cheese, cubed
  • 8 ounce(s) gruyere cheese, cubed
  • 2 cup(s) dry white wine
  • 2 1/2 ounce(s) sherry wine
  • 3/10 cup(s) flour
  • 1 garlic clove

Instructions

 

  • Rub the inside of the fondue pot with a clove of garlic.
  • Pour 2 cups of dry white wine in the fondue pot.
  • Heat until almost boiling.
  • Use 1/2 lb Swiss cheese and 1/2 lb gruyere cheese, cubed.
  • Put in a bag and toss with 1/3 cup flour.
  • Add cheese by handfuls to the wine.
  • Make sure all the cheese has melted before adding more.
  • When all the cheese has been added and melted, pour in 1/3-cup sherry and mix.
  • Serve with cut up egg bagels.
  • Ready in 1 hour.
