Quick Calzones

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounce(s) ground beef
  • 1/2 cup(s) pizza sauce
  • 8 crescent rolls
  • 4 ounce(s) shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a medium skillet cook beef until brown.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Stir in pizza sauce.
  • Meanwhile, separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles.
  • Pinch perforations to seal.
  • On a floured surface roll each rectangle into a 7 x 5 inch rectangle and spoon 1/4 of the meat mixture onto half of each rectangle.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Fold rectangles in half.
  • Press and then flute edges to seal; place calzones on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake in a 400 degrees oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
