- 8 ounce(s) ground beef
- 1/2 cup(s) pizza sauce
- 8 crescent rolls
- 4 ounce(s) shredded mozzarella cheese
In a medium skillet cook beef until brown.
Drain off fat.
Stir in pizza sauce.
Meanwhile, separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles.
Pinch perforations to seal.
On a floured surface roll each rectangle into a 7 x 5 inch rectangle and spoon 1/4 of the meat mixture onto half of each rectangle.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Fold rectangles in half.
Press and then flute edges to seal; place calzones on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a 400 degrees oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
