Pecan Encrusted Salmon

It’s all upstream with this nutty salmon entree. With just a few basic ingredients, you can serve up a seafood special that’s simply divine.

Ingredients

  

  • 8 ounce(s) salmon filet
  • 3 ounce(s) crushed pecan halves
  • 4 tablespoon(s) clarified butter
  • 1 floz Frangelico liqueur
  • 8 tablespoon(s) heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar

Instructions

 

  • Heat saute pan.
  • Coat salmon in crushed pecans.
  • Place butter in saute pan.
  • Sear salmon on both sides.
  • Finish in 350-degree oven until desired temperature, about 5-10 minutes.
  • While salmon is in oven, deglaze saute pan with Frangelico; add brown sugar and cream.
  • Reduce to desired consistency.
  • Plate salmon and drizzle with sauce.
