New Delhi Style Cheesecake

This cheesecake is known as Ras-Malai. With a taste that's magically different than the typical cheesecake, it stands apart from the other variations... in the most appetizing way imaginable.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large container ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup(s) sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) cardamom
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon(s) rose water
  • 1/4 cup(s) milk
  • 1 cup(s) half and half

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Beat all ingredients except Half & Half into a smooth paste in a large bowl with hand-held mixer.
  • Pour into baking dish.
  • Bake at 350 degrees 35-40 minutes until center is firm.
  • Cool 10 minutes, cut into squares, pour half and half over it until covered.
  • Refrigerate overnight or at least a few hours.
  • Use more Half and Half when serving to make it moister if you want.
