Margarita Sorbet

It’s tequila time. Forget those shots. Instead, enjoy a bowl of this margarita sorbet that’s refreshing and fun for the over 21 crowd.

Ingredients

  

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 33/50 cup(s) granulated sugar
  • 16 floz cold water
  • 6 floz lime juice
  • 2 63/100 floz tequila
  • 1 1/2 floz triple sec

Instructions

 

  • In saucepan, mix gelatin with sugar, blend in 1 cup of the water.
  • Let stand 1 minute.
  • Stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves completely.
  • Stir in remaining water and rest of ingredients.
  • Freeze in 9-inch pan until firm (4-5 hours) Process (1/2 at a time) in food processor until smooth.
  • Freeze in pan until firm for about 2 hours.
