Heart Healthy Baked Mushroom & Asparagus

Earthy mushrooms and asparagus get a kick from fresh rosemary and garlic in this simple casserole side. Eating healthy never tasted so good!

Ingredients
  

  • 20 to 25 spears trimmed, fresh asparagus (1 lb)
  • 8 ounce(s) whole mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
  • 2 teaspoon(s) olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) fresh rosemary
  • 1 dash(es) freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 dash(es) garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
  • Place asparagus spears and mushrooms in a large plastic bag with a tight-fitting seal.
  • Drizzle oil over asparagus mixture in bag.
  • Add rosemary.
  • Seal bag tightly and shake gently until asparagus and mushrooms are coated lightly with oil.
  • Arrange asparagus and mushrooms in a single layer on a large baking sheet and season with pepper and garlic powder.
  • Bake about 10 minutes, or until asparagus is tender-crisp.
  • Ready in 20 min.
