Heart Healthy Baked Mushroom & Asparagus
Earthy mushrooms and asparagus get a kick from fresh rosemary and garlic in this simple casserole side. Eating healthy never tasted so good!

- 20 to 25 spears trimmed, fresh asparagus (1 lb)
- 8 ounce(s) whole mushrooms, cleaned and trimmed
- 2 teaspoon(s) olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) fresh rosemary
- 1 dash(es) freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 dash(es) garlic powder
Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Place asparagus spears and mushrooms in a large plastic bag with a tight-fitting seal.
Drizzle oil over asparagus mixture in bag.
Add rosemary.
Seal bag tightly and shake gently until asparagus and mushrooms are coated lightly with oil.
Arrange asparagus and mushrooms in a single layer on a large baking sheet and season with pepper and garlic powder.
Bake about 10 minutes, or until asparagus is tender-crisp.
