Curried Beef & Pork Loaf

This ain’t your grandma’s meatloaf! Seasoned with curry and garlic to give it a spicy and tasty flavor. A unique twist on a classic dish.

Ingredients

  

  • 3 slices of bread
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 24 ounce(s) beef, ground
  • 8 ounce(s) pork, ground
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon(s) curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 2 tablespoon(s) fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 dash(es) Pepper, freshly ground, to taste

Instructions

 

  • Remove crusts from bread; tear in pieces and let soak in milk.
  • Toss together in a large bowl and remaining ingredients.
  • Press lightly into a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
  • Cover with foil and bake in preheated 350 degrees oven about 1 1/2 hours.
  • Drain off pan juices.
  • Slice to serve and leave loaf overnight in refrigerator if you like to serve it cold.
  • Ready in 2 hours.
