  • 4 ounce(s) lemon juice
  • 8 ounce(s) water
  • 6 teaspoon(s) (2 tbsp) sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Trim hard stem ends off figs.
  • Medium dice figs.
  • Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce to simmer.
  • Simmer until liquid evaporated.
  • Serve warm or cooled.
  • Ready in 20 min.
