Chocolate Chip Cookies
Break and bake cookies may be designed for ease of use, but there's nothing like the great taste of homemade cookies, fresh from the oven.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 2 cup(s) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup(s) chopped walnuts
- 1 cup(s) butter, softened
- 1 cup(s) white sugar
- 1 cup(s) packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 2 teaspoon(s) hot water
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl combine first 5 ingredients (dry ingredients).
- In a larger bowl beat sugars and butter until fluffy, and then add egg white and dry ingredients, beat well.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Shape into little balls and place on baking sheets.
- Press down with the palm of your hand (they won't spread, so press them as flat as you like your cookies).
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
