Buttery Corn Casserole

Call me corny, but this casserole is down right delicious! Full of rich and creamy butter and eggs, this easy-to-make dish is hearty enough to stand alone or be paired with such things as chili or fried chicken.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup(s) butter, melted
  • 2 (15.25 oz) cans creamed corn
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 8 ounce(s) dry cornbread mix
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 dash salt to taste
  • 1 dash black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Melt butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Add corn, eggs, corn bread mix, onion, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until firm.
  • Ready in 50 min.
