Boiled Corn

Simple corn on the cob is a must have for your next cookout. This simple side pairs well with ribs, chicken, steak, or fish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 corn on the cob, , remove husks
  • 64 ounce(s) water
  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
  • 1 dash(es) ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, enough to hold the corn to fill it with water to cover the corn (the corn should float).
  • On a medium heat allow the pot of water to boil.
  • Once the water is boiled, add in the corn into the pot and cover.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes depending on how soft you want your corn.
  • Drain water and remove corn on the cob.
  • Top the corn with salt, pepper and butter or herbs and spices.
  • Ready in 15 min.
