Boiled Corn
Simple corn on the cob is a must have for your next cookout. This simple side pairs well with ribs, chicken, steak, or fish.
Ingredients
- 1 corn on the cob, , remove husks
- 64 ounce(s) water
- 1 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
- 1 dash(es) ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, enough to hold the corn to fill it with water to cover the corn (the corn should float).
- On a medium heat allow the pot of water to boil.
- Once the water is boiled, add in the corn into the pot and cover.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes depending on how soft you want your corn.
- Drain water and remove corn on the cob.
- Top the corn with salt, pepper and butter or herbs and spices.
- Ready in 15 min.
