
Baked Spicy Shrimp
Boiled… Fried… Grilled… Baked… So many ways to prepare shrimp, so little time to do it. A fast fix, these baked spicy shrimp will be ready in minutes. Simple seafood right here.
Ingredients
- 24 ounce(s) medium fresh shrimp in shells
- 1/2 cup(s) butter
- 1/4 cup(s) vegetable oil
- 8 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 to 3 dried chiles, coarsely crumbled
- 3 teaspoon(s) fresh lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 Scallion tops, slivered, for garnish
Instructions

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Shell and devein shrimp, leaving tails attached; rinse and drain well.

Heat butter and oil in small skillet over medium heat until butter is melted and foamy.

Add garlic, chiles, limejuice and salt.

Cook and stir 1 minute.

Remove from heat.

Arrange shrimp in an even layer in a shallow 2-quart baking dish.

Pour hot butter mixture over shrimp.

Bake shrimp 10 to 12 minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque, stirring once.

Garnish with slivered scallion tops.

Ready in 25 min.
