It's usually a good idea to sit yourself between siblings as a way to discourage them from talking. Try not to lose your cool if your children don't behave exactly as planned. Remember, it's a process you'll want to try over and over until you finally get it right. As your child becomes more acclimated to the process of sitting in a worship service, he'll begin to behave on task as well. If you've tried and failed, consider that your child might not be old enough to attend services yet. Enroll him in an age-appropriate class at your place of worship or even opt to leave him at the child-sitting service if there's one available. Last but not least, there's always the babysitting route.
