"Pro" Disney vacationers say it's the most child-friendly park and the one that appeals most to little ones - although there's lots to do at Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom and the other attractions. You may not make it to the other parks as the kids insist on returning to the Magic Kingdom. Factor into your vacation budget the "extras" that come with bringing kids - stroller rental, car rental, food and all the other necessities. If you stay at a Disney hotel, or "on property," you'll be assured of transportation to and from the parks. However, there can be a wait for these shuttles after a long day at the park. Some families opt for car rental or driving their own car to the parks each day to avoid the wait. Keep kids on as much of a schedule as you can to avoid tantrums and burnout. It's a good idea to adhere to home naptimes and bedtimes as much as possible. An afternoon siesta or just relaxing at the pool before going back out into the park into the evening benefits everyone, even the big kids.
