
Crockpot Pork
A little time for a taste that’s simply divine! This decadent pork shoulder takes a time investment on your part. You’ll need to marinate it for 24 hours and then cook it in the crock-pot. One taste and you’ll see why it’s worth the wait.
Ingredients
- 40 ounce(s) boneless pork shoulder
- 3 teaspoon(s) brown sugar
- 6 teaspoon(s) Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon(s) salt
- 1 tablespoon(s) cumin
- 1 tablespoon(s) paprika
- 1 tablespoon(s) fresh ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 1/2 tablespoon(s) mesquite powder
- 1/2 cup(s) frozen apple juice concentrate
- 1/2 cup(s) cider vinegar
Instructions

Combine the ingredients from 2 to 9.

Spread over entire roast.

Refrigerate roast in a Ziploc bag for up to 24 hours.

Place apple juice and vinegar in a crock-pot and add the spiced shoulder being careful not to lose the rub.

Cook on high for two hours, and then reduce to low for 10 more hours.

Remove the roast and let rest for 30 minutes.

Pull roast apart with two forks.
