Ingredients

  

  • 1/2 cup(s) onions, chopped
  • 3/25 cup(s) beef broth or bouillon
  • 33/100 cup(s) celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dried parsley
  • 33/100 cup(s) green peppers, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup(s) macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon(s) sugar
  • 3 1/2 cup(s) tomatoes, crushed (28-oz. can)
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) red peppers
  • 12 ounce(s) hamburger
  • 1/2 cup(s) American cheese

Instructions

 

  • Place hamburger in large skillet; separate into small pieces and saute till meat is brown.
  • Remove meat from skillet and drain off most liquid and then place pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes and drain.
  • Add 1 tbsp olive oil to skillet and saute onion, celery, peppers, and garlic till soft.
  • Add cooked pasta, hamburger, tomatoes, bouillon, parsley, sugar and pepper.
  • Toss ingredients.
  • Simmer slowly for 20-minutes while stirring frequently.
  • Serve when flavors have blended.
  • A small bowl of dry American cheese should accompany the meal.
  • Ready in 25 min.
