
Simple Party Cheese Fondue
Fond of fondue? Then this recipe is definitely for you. This classic and simple fondue recipe is perfect for a group gathering or an intimate dinner for two. Serve with egg bagels for a different twist.
Ingredients
- 8 ounce(s) swiss cheese, cubed
- 8 ounce(s) gruyere cheese, cubed
- 2 cup(s) dry white wine
- 2 1/2 ounce(s) sherry wine
- 3/10 cup(s) flour
- 1 garlic clove
Instructions

Rub the inside of the fondue pot with a clove of garlic.

Pour 2 cups of dry white wine in the fondue pot.

Heat until almost boiling.

Use 1/2 lb Swiss cheese and 1/2 lb gruyere cheese, cubed.

Put in a bag and toss with 1/3 cup flour.

Add cheese by handfuls to the wine.

Make sure all the cheese has melted before adding more.

When all the cheese has been added and melted, pour in 1/3-cup sherry and mix.

Serve with cut up egg bagels.

Ready in 1 hour.
