Margarita Sherbet
Tequila and sherbet sound like they’d make strange bedfellows, but it’s a pleasant surprise. This adult-only beverage is a great after-hours treat.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar
- 24 floz water
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) grated lime peel
- 2 63/100 floz tequila
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
Instructions

Combine sugar and water in saucepan and boil 5 minutes to make syrup.

Add lime peel during last minute of cooking time.

Remove from heat and stir in limejuice.

Cool and place in freezer.

When frozen to a thick mush, remove and place in the blender.

Add remaining ingredients and blend thoroughly.

Refreeze.

Serve in salt-rimmed glasses.
