Meatless Pasta
This is a veggie pasta and can be “adjusted” as you like. Feel free to experiment but remember to keep the pasta “al dente”.
Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon(s) oil
- 33/100 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1/2 cup(s) onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup(s) canned tomatoes, chopped & drained
- 1/2 cup(s) dry macaroni
- 12 floz hot water
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste
Instructions

In medium saucepan over medium heat, saute onion, garlic and green pepper in the 1/2 tbsp of oil and the 1 tbs of butter until transparent.

Add the tomatoes, macaroni and hot water and salt and pepper.

Cover and cook the length of time it takes the macaroni as directed on macaroni package, stirring occasionally.

Adding more hot water if needed.
