Meatless Pasta

This is a veggie pasta and can be "adjusted" as you like. Feel free to experiment but remember to keep the pasta "al dente".

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) oil
  • 33/100 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1/2 cup(s) onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup(s) canned tomatoes, chopped & drained
  • 1/2 cup(s) dry macaroni
  • 12 floz hot water
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt, to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • In medium saucepan over medium heat, saute onion, garlic and green pepper in the 1/2 tbsp of oil and the 1 tbs of butter until transparent.
  • Add the tomatoes, macaroni and hot water and salt and pepper.
  • Cover and cook the length of time it takes the macaroni as directed on macaroni package, stirring occasionally.
  • Adding more hot water if needed.
