Sugar-Free Maple Cookies

Just about everybody has a sweet tooth. Unfortunately, not everyone can indulge in those over-the-top treats. For the sugar lover who can’t do sugar, these cookies are the perfect snack. Your sugar-free friends will be grateful for the find.

Ingredients

  

  • 1/2 cup(s) reduced fat margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup(s) sour cream
  • 1 cup(s) peeled, shredded tart apple
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon(s) maple flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 2 cup(s) all-purpose flour
  • 333/1000 cup(s) brown sugar substitute
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder

Instructions

 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine margarine, sour cream, apple, eggs, maple flavouring and vanilla.
  • Combine flour, sweetener, baking soda and baking powder; add to apple mixture and mix well.
  • Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets coated with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Cool on wire racks.
  • Store in airtight container.
