Guacamole
Holy Guacamole! What’s gourmet Mexican food without some homemade guacamole? This great-tasting recipe is hardly the pits. Serve with tacos, burritos, enchiladas and more.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup(s) onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon(s) garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoon(s) chili powder
- 2 teaspoon(s) cumin
- 2 cup(s) frozen peas
- 2 2/5 ounce(s) water
- 4 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
- 2 ounce(s) avocado, chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) tomato, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
Instructions

Cook first 4 ingredients in a nonstick pan over medium heat until onion is soft.

Add the peas and water.

Cover and cook 3 minutes.

Puree in blender until smooth.

(A blender works better than a food processor for this recipe).

Let cool and add remaining ingredients.

Serve as a side salad, with tortillas or with nacho chips.
