Rice & Onion Soup
Rice, rice, baby! This is a “mock” casserole that requires a microwave, but is very simple to make. You’ll be wishing you’d made more once you’ve tried it.
Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) instant rice
- 1 can condensed French onion soup
- 2 16/25 cup(s) (2 cans) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 8 tablespoon(s) butter, cubed
Instructions

In a 9×11 inch microwave safe dish, mix together the rice, French onion soup, mushroom soup and butter.

Cook in microwave oven on high power for 10 minutes or until boiling.

Decrease power to medium, stir and cook for 20 minutes.

Serve when all liquid is absorbed.
