Rice & Onion Soup

Rice, rice, baby! This is a “mock” casserole that requires a microwave, but is very simple to make. You’ll be wishing you’d made more once you’ve tried it.

Ingredients

  

  • 2 cup(s) instant rice
  • 1 can condensed French onion soup
  • 2 16/25 cup(s) (2 cans) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 tablespoon(s) butter, cubed

Instructions

 

  • In a 9×11 inch microwave safe dish, mix together the rice, French onion soup, mushroom soup and butter.
  • Cook in microwave oven on high power for 10 minutes or until boiling.
  • Decrease power to medium, stir and cook for 20 minutes.
  • Serve when all liquid is absorbed.
