Chocolate Balls

These sweet treats require only four simple kitchen staples to create, and they are a great snack for entertaining little ones. There's no need to spend a fortune on store-bought treats with these on hand.

Chocolate Balls


For 1 people

  • 1 (18 1/4 oz.) box devil's food cake mix
  • 1/2 cup(s) vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 confectioners' sugar


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir (by hand) dry cake mix, oil and eggs in a large bowl until dough forms. Dust hands with confectioners' sugar and shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in confectioners' sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets and bake them at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until center is just set. Remove from pans after a minute and cool on wire racks.
