
Yogurt Veggie Spread
You’ll go nuts over this veggie and fruit medley that pairs great with bread, pita or crackers. It’s quite the spread, whether you eat it alone or try it with fresh grilled chicken.
Ingredients
- 1 shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/5 (3 tbsp) plain yogurt
- 1 lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon(s) soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
- 1/4 cup(s) apple, chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) carrot, chopped
- 1 ounce(s) (2 tbsp) chopped pecans
- 1 ounce(s) (2 tbsp) currants
- 1 tablespoon(s) toasted wheat germ
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) curry powder
Instructions

Process first four ingredients in a food processor until smooth.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Spread on heavy grain bread or into pita pockets.
