
Thai Barbecue Salad
Loose meat barbecue on salad? You bet! Especially with this unique method.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup(s) lime juice, raw
- 8 tablespoon(s) fish sauce
- 3/4 cup(s) sugar
- 16 ounce(s) meat, cooked and minced (your choice of meat)
- 7/20 cup(s) cilantro, chopped
- 4 ounce(s) red diced onions
- 2 teaspoon(s) chili paste in soybean oil
- 2 servings of lettuce
- 2 sliced tomato
- 1/2 cup(s) Cucumber slices
Instructions

Mix lime juice, fish sauce and sugar and heat until sugar dissolves.

Set aside.

Cook the meat and add sauce until it is the desired consistency.

You don’t want it to be soupy.

Add cilantro, onions and paste.

Place on a bed of lettuce; add tomatoes and cucumbers.

Leftover sauce can be used as dressing if desired.
