
Sweet and Sour Tuna
A little sweet, a little sour equals a great-tasting tuna treat. If you enjoy this dish in your favorite restaurants, you’ll love this home-cooked version even more.
Ingredients
- 2 cup(s) cider vinegar
- 2 cup(s) pineapple juice
- 1 cup(s) sugar
- 2 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
- 8 floz water
- 1 green bell peppers, deseeded and medium diced
- 1 red pepper, deseeded and medium diced
- 1 onion, medium diced
- 2 tablespoon(s) canola oil
- 1/2 cup(s) diced pineapple
- 1 ounce(s) seafood seasoning
- 16 ounce(s) tuna steaks
Instructions

For the sauce, in a saucepan bring vinegar, juice and sugar to a boil.

Add cornstarch slurry.

Simmer, stirring constantly, until thick.

Saute peppers and onion in canola oil; add to sauce with diced pineapple.

Season tuna steaks and grill until desired temperature.

Serve tuna topped with sauce.
