Strawberry Salad
Have we got a berry good salad for you! No need to draw straws, only strawberries. Combine romaine and spinach for a super salad that won’t leaf you high and dry. It’s the perfect way to start or finish a summer meal.
Ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce – rinsed, dried, and chopped
- 2 bunches fresh spinach – chopped, washed and dried
- 2 cup(s) fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 Bermuda onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup(s) mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon(s) white wine vinegar
- 333/1000 cup(s) white sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) milk
- 2 tablespoon(s) poppy seeds
Instructions

Dissolve Jello into boiling water per package directions.

Add frozen strawberries and stir until they are thawed and the mixture begins to thicken.

Add mashed bananas and pineapple.

Pour half the mixture into a 9 x 13 pan.

Chill in refrigerator until firm.

Spread sour cream over the top.

Add remaining Jello mixture and chill until firm.

Ready in 3 hours.
