
Steak Tartare
Steak your claim with this tempting Tartare. Regardless of how much of a meat aficionado your diners are, this classic recipe is well worth it.
Ingredients
- 4 ounce(s) filet mignon
- 1 anchovy fillets
- 33/100 tablespoon(s) chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) chopped fresh garlic
- 2/25 tablespoon(s) capers
- 1 whole egg yolk
- 3 teaspoon(s) dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon(s) dry demi-glaze
- 1/16 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/16 teaspoon(s) pepper
- 2 tablespoon(s) red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon(s) Chopped parsley
Instructions
- Finely chop the filet and anchovy.
- Incorporate the onion, garlic and capers with the meat and place in mixing bowl.
- Add egg yolk, Dijon, dry demi, salt and pepper.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Last, add the vinegar.
- Roll mix, then place onto chilled salad plate.
- Shape into one round 5-oz patty.
- Finish with chopped parsley and serve with toast points.
