Ingredients

  

  • 453 59/100 grams fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped (1 lb.)
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 4 ounce(s) water
  • 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
  • 33/100 tablespoon(s) ground allspice
  • 1 dash(es) salt, to taste
  • 1 dash(es) pepper to taste

Instructions

 

  • Heat vegetable oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cook and stir garlic until lightly browned.
  • Add in green beans and water, and bring to a boil.
  • Mix in allspice, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover, and simmer 20 minutes, until green beans are soft.
