Spaghetti With Peanut Butter Sauce

This quick, spicy pasta dish has Oriental flair - and the kids will be first in line for seconds. You can toss in some steamed broccoli and/or grilled chicken for extra protein and some color, or serve with a side of stir-fried broccoli.

Ingredients
  

  • 333/1000 cup(s) peanut butter
  • 2 67/100 ounce(s) water
  • 1 tablespoon(s) light soy sauce
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 333/1000 cup(s) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon(s) sesame oil
  • 1 dash(es) chili sauce
  • 12 ounce(s) spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon(s) chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Place the peanut butter in a small glass, and add the hot water; stir with a fork until smooth.
  • Mix in soy sauce, garlic, cream, sesame oil, chili sauce until smooth.
  • Set aside.
  • Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling water until done.
  • Drain well.
  • Place the drained pasta in a bowl.
  • Stir the reserved peanut butter mixture together again; add to the cooked pasta.
  • Toss all together, and garnish with cilantro.
  • Ready in 20 minutes.
