Spaghetti with Ground Turkey
When Mexican meets Italian, this supreme spaghetti surprise is the by-product. It’s the traditional pasta dish prepared with Mexican-inspired spices. Ciao down on this creative concoction.
Ingredients
- 16 ounce(s) pkg. Barilla spaghetti
- 16 ounce(s) ground turkey, cooked and drained
- 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1/2 cup(s) chopped onion
- 1/2 cup(s) chopped green bell pepper
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 2 16/25 cup(s) (2-10 3/4 oz. cans) condensed tomato soup
- 1 15 oz. can kidney beans
- 1 4 oz. can Ortega diced green chilies
- 2 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 2 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon(s) cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon
Instructions

Heat oil in medium saucepan.

Add onion, bell pepper and garlic; cook for 5 minutes.

Add turkey, soup, beans, chili powder, cumin, vinegar and cinnamon.

Bring to a boil; reduce heat to “low”.

Cook for 15 minutes and season with salt and ground black pepper.

Serve over hot spaghetti.
