Slow & Low Chicken & Pork
It's the white meat... and the other white meat combined for a fancy feast. Prepared in a red wine marinade, this crockpot chicken and pork goes great with rice or potatoes.
Ingredients
- 48 ounce(s) chicken pieces
- 16 ounce(s) lean boneless pork cubed
- 8 ounce(s) dry red wine
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- 3 cup(s) beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 83/1000 ounce(s) rosemary
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
Instructions
- Place chicken pieces and pork cubes in a large bowl and mix all other ingredients thoroughly, pour over chicken and pork.
- Allow meat to marinate in sauce for about 2 hours or you could leave it over night.
- Transfer chicken, pork and marinade to crock-pot.
- Cook on low 6-8 hrs, or until chicken and pork are thoroughly cooked.
- Ready in 8-10 hours.
