Slow-Cooked Pork & Sauerkraut

Ingredients
  

  • 20 ounce(s) can or bag sauerkraut
  • 1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 24 ounce(s) ground pork sausage
  • 1 onion, sliced

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine the sauerkraut and brown sugar.
  • Then place in the crock-pot.
  • Arrange the sausage and onion over the sauerkraut.
  • Cook on HIGH for 2 hours.
  • If it appears dry, add some water if necessary.
  • Reduce heat to LOW setting, and cook for two more hours.
  • Try it with Kielbasa.
