Shrimp Scampi
An Italian favorite that can be made with such ease. There's no need to skimp on the shrimp. Indulge in this classic.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1 clove garlic, fine chop
- 2 floz white wine
- 2 ounce(s) large shrimp, tails on
- 1/2 lemon; Juice and zest of
- 1 cup(s) cooked fettuccine pasta
- 2 red bell pepper strips, fine chop
- 2 tablespoon(s) Parmesan cheese; as much as desired
Instructions
- In pan, melt butter and saute garlic and wine together until reduced by about half.
- Add shrimp and stir until almost completely pink.
- Add lemon juice and zest, cook until shrimp are pink and slightly firm, about 2 minutes.
- Pour shrimp and garlic mixture over pasta and garnish with bell pepper and Parmesan cheese.
